Squrreling about - far far away

Last summer I visited this beautiful temple in the north east parts of China. Unfortunately I don't remember the  name of the temple or the city where it was located. I just adore the colours and the patterns. At least I have my memories and this photos. Anyone who recognize this lace?

I have a thing for Chinese lanterns, I just love the shape, the bright colours and the festive feeling they give.  These are from the China display at Royal Flora Rachapruek just outside Chiang Mai and I wish I could have taken them home with me!

This summer I bought a cute jasmine plant to make our room a bit more cosy when I worked in northern China. It smelled lovely and I wanted to bring it with me back to Sweden but that was not possible. Before leaving it in the good care of a friend I took a cutting that I brought with me back home.It has been in water since August and the first two months nothing happened, but then a small root started to grow! Now it is quite a big root, but I think I'll wait a while before trying to put it in soil.

Anyone who has any growing tips for me?

Here are some more of my favourite note books and pens. The pink note book are from the gift shop at the Modern Museum in Stockholm, the eraser and black pen is from China and the rest of the pens are from Seoul. Sweet as candy!

You can't have too many little notebooks or pens I say! Here is one of my favourite combinations. The notebook is from Chiang Mai and the pen I found in northern China.

If you fancy the notebook, have a look in our little shop where we sell our surplus.

Have a nice day!

A lot of my favourite jewelry comes from Adrien Schnee's shop on Thapae Road.  These lovely pendants and earrings are made from ancient pieces of china with sterling silver settings.  They go with almost anything and I love how unique each piece is.

The shop has no signs, but is located close to Thapae Gate on the same side as Starbucks and a couple shops away from the Red Ruby Tailor.  It's the perfect place to shop for gifts, either for a friend or for yourself.  As for me, I'm keeping my eyes open for a nice ring!

I love keeping my jewelry in these cute little boxes, to see the entire range click here
