Sunset over Chiang Mai and the surrounding mountains.  These photos were taken on the verandah of a nice restaurant that I unfortunately can't remember the name of.  The food was delicious, however!

Squirreling about - Chiang Mai

Some photos from my weekend!  On Saturday we visited Huay Tung Tao, a lake just outside of Chiang Mai.  It's such a fantastic place to just relax by the waterside and have lunch.  If it's not too hot, it's nice to take a stroll around the lake as well and enjoy the scenery.

How to get there - drive north on Canal Road towards Mae Rim, turn left after the 700 Year Stadium and follow the signs for Huay Tung Tao Lake.

Squirreling about - far far away

Greetings from a cold, wet and windy Edinburgh!

Although the biting wind has already claimed two of my umbrellas and the rain has made all photography next to impossible, Edinburgh remains one of my favourite cities in the world with a charm all of its own!  Here are some photos from my trip last summer, on a similarly cold and windy, but less wet day! :)

Squirreling about - far far away

The weather is starting to heat up and I've been squirreling about far far away - this time to a secret hideaway in Omkoi.  But despite the heat and the dryness it always feels fresh and cool taking a walk down by the river.  There is something about the sound of running water that is so soothing and relaxing!
