Paint Color Trends Challenge

I stumbled  upon this blog post over at the lovely Travelling Mama. I'm really not good at scrap booking or I have actually never tried before, but I was thinking why not? I was going to buy or make a card for someone special anyway and here I don't need to choose a colour palette myself.

So here is my card! Maybe not perfect but I think it is kind of cute. I do like to use white paper bags as envelopes but I have never used paint on them before, it worked out very well I think. I also got use for my round dots stickers that I adore! There is always room for a dot! As you might have already guessed it is also raining here in Stockholm : ) I hope you like it!

Acorn

One of my favourite things to do when I'm stressed is pull out my stamps and mini origami papers and make cards.  The origami papers are bought in Stockholm and some of the stamps I found in a market in Hanoi.  So much more fun than buying cards in a gift shop!

Squirreling about - Chiang Mai

The sweetest elephant cards imaginable can be found at Things Called Art on Prappokklao Road in the old part of Chiang Mai.  Artist Suphachet Bhumakarn paints elephants - flying, in the clouds and on the ground.  I love his latest collection featuring elephants and Year of the Rabbit bunnies - they are going straight into a frame and up on my wall!
