The Chiang Mai squirrel has been busy too with traveling, maternity leave and moving house! 

As I was unpacking and decorating the new house I was reminded of how much I love bamboo baskets - they have such an organic feel and are so versatile.  I like to use mine for flowers and fruit, the more unusual the better!

I love these colorful little baskets made from recycled Thai advertising leaflets and newspaper!  Found them in Bangkok at a Thai Craft sale a couple of years back and still have them standing in my bookshelf.

My work often takes me to some weird and wonderful places.  Today I ended up at this charming mix of warehouse and curiosity shop on the way to Hang Dong; it was completely filled with every kind of bamboo and rattan basket imaginable!
